The brass kaleidoscope “Cataleya” with double rotating disc has been handcrafted by kaleidoscope artist Roy Cohen from Israel. The two independently rotating discs make it possible to create various colored glass element combinations and thus generate ever-new kaleidoscopic patterns. The housing made from high-quality brass shows the characteristic handcrafted workmanship with slight irregularities as well as fine scratches on the surface, which give each specimen its individual character. The warm, golden brass surface develops a natural patina over time. When looking through, fascinating kaleidoscopic patterns of the mirrored environment emerge, which can be continuously changed through the rotation of the two rotating discs. Each specimen is a handcrafted unique piece and is delivered including matching wooden stand.
