Privacy Policy

Overview

We have created this privacy policy to inform you — in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — about which information we collect, how we use data, and which choices you have as a visitor to this website.

Data Automatically Logged

When you visit our shop, certain information is automatically created and stored by our web server. This includes:

  • The URL of the page you accessed

  • Browser and browser version

  • Operating system

  • Referrer URL (the previously visited webpage)

  • Hostname and IP address of the device used to access the website

  • Date and time of the request

Log files are typically stored for two weeks and then automatically deleted. We do not pass these data on, but they may be accessed in case of unlawful behaviour.

Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses HTTP‑cookies to store user‑specific data. Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. They help our site work correctly — e.g., to preserve the shopping cart when you navigate between pages — or to remember your preferences.

Types of Cookies

  • Strictly necessary cookies — required for essential functions (e.g., shopping cart, checkout)

  • Functional cookies — to improve usability, store settings or choices

  • Targeting/Advertising cookies — for personalised advertising or tracking; usage depends on your consent or your browser settings

You may configure your browser to block or notify you about cookies, or delete existing cookies. Blocking or deleting cookies may limit certain functions of our website.

Handling of Personal Data

If you voluntarily provide us with personal data (e.g., via contact form, registration, order process), we use it strictly to communicate with you or to fulfil contractual obligations. We treat such data confidentially and do not share it with third parties, unless required by law or necessary for order fulfilment.

If you send us personal data via email — outside our website — we cannot guarantee secure transmission. We recommend not sending sensitive data unencrypted.

Your Rights under GDPR

You have the following rights under the GDPR:

  • Right to correction of your data

  • Right to deletion (“Right to be Forgotten”)

  • Right to restrict processing

  • Right to data portability

  • Right to object to processing (e.g., profiling / marketing)

  • Right not to be subject to automated decision‑making including profiling

If you believe your data has been processed unlawfully, you may contact us or lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

Data Analysis & Analytics

We and our service providers may analyse certain use data from our shop — e.g., visited pages, click paths, device data, date/time of visit, search queries, locale settings — to improve our website and services. These analyses are usually anonymised and not associated with your personal identity.

Where applicable, the responsible partner for joint‑data processing is our shop software provider.

We do not transfer data to countries outside the EU/EEA unless required and compliant with data‑transfer rules.

Data Security

We use TLS (Transport Layer Security) — visible as “https://” in your browser address bar — to encrypt data transmission and protect the confidentiality of information you send us (e.g., during checkout or contact forms).

Newsletter / Contact Forms

If you sign up for our newsletter or send a contact form, we will only process the data you voluntarily provide (e.g., email address) to fulfil the purpose (send newsletters, answer enquiries). We will not share these data with third parties and we delete them once no longer needed.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, and your data will be removed (unless there is another legal reason to retain them).
